The Vine House

In this unique, architectural space we chose to keep the kitchen furniture subtle and understated, leaving the focus on the room itself.

A former greenhouse renovated to become a beautiful kitchen with planked white cabinets and a bespoke solid oak kitchen island

“We are delighted with the kitchen Tom and his team designed and built for us. Tom completely understood our brief while offering ideas that enhanced our vision. We would not hesitate to recommend Tom and would be excited by the idea of using him again in a future home.”

As part of a full renovation to this historic Mid Sussex property, the former Victorian vine house was converted into a new open-plan kitchen and living space. The original vaulted ceiling gives an enormous sense of space and light and we wanted to mirror this in our choice of cabinetry.

The white painted plank doors strike a balance between traditional and modern whilst the combination of our own handmade handles and round finger-pulls add subtle interest. The open shelving maintains a spacious feel to the room and the fumed oak island adds weight and a central point of functionality.
