Middle Way
A beautiful bright family kitchen. Matte grey doors soften the light streaming in, oak details throughout the space provide depth and contrast.
“From start to finish, our experience was brilliant and can’t recommend enough. They were clean, friendly, efficient and most importantly, did a beautiful job. We were on a tight budget and we are so thrilled we made the investment - it’s worth it. Thank you to Tom and his team - fantastic work and we have a beautiful kitchen. Very happy!”
In this newly extended Edwardian house in the heart of Lewes we created a kitchen suited to busy family life. It needed practicality at its foundations, using hardwearing materials that would stand the test of time whilst also looking beautiful and feeling satisfying to use.
A Slim Aarons photograph provided the initial inspiration and over a number of sessions with the clients we found the right balance of materials that would be long lasting, tactile and stylish. This led us to use a deep grey Fenix in the kitchen and rust red Fenix in the laundry room, all offset with oak handles and trims. At the centre, a rustic oak island becomes the place for the family to gather. A contemporary kitchen with soul.
