Paddock Road
A kitchen full of style and colour with nods to classic design for a client with a deep knowledge of art history.
“Fantastic experience working with Tom and his Team. I have had no end of compliments and am extremely pleased with the end result.”
Influenced by the Mid-Century designs of Charlotte Perriand and Le Corbusier we worked with the client to bring something unique to this compact Lewes kitchen. Perriand’s modernist vision was to “transform everyday life to an art of living” and our aim with this project was similar - to create cabinetry that was artistically striking whilst serving its day-to-day purpose.
The rich cherry veneer and handmade flush handles bring a natural warmth which is complemented by vivid splashes of solid colour throughout. The sliding doors to the upper cabinets give easy access to storage and cleverly conceal the oven extraction. Spice racks are hidden within convenient reach of the cooking area. Mid-Century design meets modern, everyday living.
